If you are going to celebration Europe, most likely you are going to spend most, if not all, of your time at the Excel center having fun, queueing in line to get a wristband so you can queue in line later to get into a panel, getting autographs, photo ops, tattoos or just walking around.

But, there is another Star Wars activity you can be doing outside the Excel center and I promise you it is very rewarding for Star Wars fans of all ages. Madame Tussaud's London has an amazing permanent Star Wars Experience. Continue reading the article to find more about it.
If you are not into wax figures of famous people it's OK, we aren’t either. But the Madame Tussaud's Star Wars Experience is not about the actors, it is about the characters and the movie scenes. Yes, you will see characters like Han Solo, Yoda, C-3PO, Princess Leia, etc. recreating their most famous scenes in the movies. It is an immersive experience. You will feel like you are in one of the movies. The set replicas are very accurate and the best part is that you can pose with them and take pictures for free. Madame Tussaud's offers a photo service for a price at a couple of the displays.  But you can still take your own.

How does it work?

You need to buy a general admission ticket to the museum and ask for the Star Wars Experience pass.  You can get tickets online here which is highly recommended since they sell out really fast (just in case you were wondering, "Signed Star Wars" doesn’t profit from this, we just loved the exhibition last time we visited London).
At the entrance they will give you a bracelet that will give you access to the Star Wars exhibition. You can’t skip the main museum part, but you can pass through it very fast. After the Marvel super heroes exhibition (which is good), you will enter the museum's dome theater (you can’t skip it either, believe me, I’ve tried) for a 4D Avengers animated movie. It is very enjoyable. When you get inside the theater, I advise you to sit closer to the front left side. After the movie ends, the Star Wars music will start and some people in costumes will come to guide those with a wristband to the Star Wars section which is located to the left of the theater. This means there are a few minutes between groups entering the exhibition. Stay at the end of your group so you can enjoy each display after the majority of your group has moved to another one.

What will you see there?

The Star Wars Experience, as I mentioned, is an immersive one. The set recreation is very accurate and all the space is decorated accordingly. They have another one in Germany but it is nothing compared to this one. That one is pretty small and crowded. This one has a whole section of the museum dedicated to it.
The exhibition includes:
  1. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jin Battling Darth Maul in the Naboo Palace reactor room
  2. Anakin in battling pose over a river of lava in Mustafar
  3. Han Solo in the booth were he kills Greedo (you can sit in the place where Greedo is supposed to be
  4. The Millennium Falcon cockpit with Chewbacca in it and an empty seat that you can actually sit on.
  5. R2-D2 and C-3PO in the Tatooine desert
  6. Two Stormtroopers in the Death star
  7. Yoda meditating in Dagobah
  8. Darth Vader extending his hand to Luke in Bespin. Luke is not there but there is a place where he is supposed to be for you to pose (professional photo op taken here on request)
  9. Jabba the Hutt and Slave princess Leia in Jabba’s palace (professional photo op taken here at request)
  10. Luke and Darth Vader dueling in front of the Emperor in the Second Death Star throne room
  11. BB-8 on Yakku

Take a look at the pics below. It is actually fun! If you can, visit this museum. It is a great experience for all Star Wars fans. Nothing is off limits; you can touch, pose with the wax figures, take pictures, videos and be as silly as you want.
The regular exhibit doesn’t include the Star Wars experience. So be sure to add it when you are buying the regular entrance.

I hope you visit and enjoy this exhibition. The force is really strong with Madame Tussaud's London! You can take a look at their websitehere
