For those adults who collect Star Wars action figures, or for kids who like to play with them, there is nothing like The Black Series (byHasbro). It is an action figure with the high quality of a sculpture. The details are impressive, and the 6 inch ones (some come in 3.75 inches) are just superb. The only way to make these better is by adding an autographs to them (or two) .

The Black Series action figure in the picture above is the 6 inch Boba Fett with Han Solo in carbonite available as an exclusive at San Diego Comic Con and Star Wars Celebration Europe in Germany (2013). I was lucky to be close to Germany at the time, so we decided to drive there and attend our first Star Wars Celebration. As a good Star Wars fan, as soon as we entered the convention hall, I sent my wife to procure one while I stayed in line to buy autograph and photo op tickets ;) Here is where it got tricky, I only had time to get two autographs for it. (We drove 9 hours to get there and we only had Friday and Saturday to do everything we had planned). So I had to decide between Jeremy Bulloch, John Morton and Dickey Beer to sign it. In the end, I decided for Jeremy and Dickey, with the idea to get John's later. I still haven't been able to do this, though even though he was at Rhode Island Comic Con last week. Unfortunately, the action figure is packed on its way to another country (were we are going to be living starting next summer).

It was my first time meeting both of them. Jeremy told me he got a couple of the action figures for himself (of course he would, they are amazing). Same with Dickey. I didn't even have to ask him for a picture, he offered to hold it and pose for a picture with me. I was glad to see how nice both of them are to their fans (more on that on a future post).
