This sounds crazy right? The only reason I'm giving this theory some (very little) credibility is because J. J. Abrams said that the new trilogy is about the Skywalkers. You could say that Kylo Ren is a Skywalker by extension, but that would be a stretch. Continue reading to find out about this fan theory. Take it with a grain of salt, and of course, this article contains spoilers for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
In a recent article published by Screen Crush, the author points out a possible grammatical mistake in the opening crawl for Star Wars Episode VII. The crawl reads "...General Leia Organa leads a brave resistance. She is desperate to find her brother Luke and gain his help in restoring peace and justice to the galaxy."
when it should read "...General Leia Organa leads a brave resistance. She is desperate to find her brother ,Luke, and gain his help in restoring peace and justice to the galaxy." With commas before and after "Luke." if not, it would indicate that she has more than one brother.
This theory, if true, could lead to many possibilities, like, for example, Rey being Luke's niece. To be honest, we might be reading too much into that grammatical mistake, since Leia doesn't mention anything about searching for another family member besides Luke during Episode VII.
Fan Theories will keep on coming until May 2017 when hopefully we will learn about Rey's parents and maybe even Finn's. What do you think? Is it just a grammatical mishap, or an intentional mistake?
