This comes as a surprise to no one. Star wars: The Force Awakens has broken pre-sales records in online sites.

Fandango reported  that Star Wars: The Force Awakens has higher pre-sales than the first Hunger Games, which holds the company’s first day pre-sales record. While AMC has added showtimes with nearly 4 million tickets available nationwide for the opening weekend of Dec. 18-20 across different platforms: Imax, 3D, Dolby, etc
